Mr. Chorney joined True Energy Trust as President & COO in May 2007. Formerly Vice President, Development Operations at Canadian Natural Resources Limited, Mr. Chorney held positions of increasing responsibilities in Canada and the United Kingdom over the last 13 years. During his professional career Mr. Chorney has managed production operations, drilling and completions, facilities and pipelines, as well as corporate health and safety. Mr. Chorney is a Professional Engineer and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta and the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.

Mr. Ed Brown of Calgary Alberta is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Toronto with majors in finance and economics. He has over 20 years of international finance and management experience having held several senior financial positions in the energy industry. Prior to joining True Energy in July 2006, Mr. Brown was the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Petrofund Energy Trust a large inter-listed conventional oil and gas royalty trust. From 2002 to March 2005, Mr. Brown was the senior financial officer at Duke Energy Field Services Canada and provided advisory and consulting services. From 1984 to 2002, he held a number of senior executive positions at TransCanada PipeLines Limited in both Calgary and Toronto. From 1978 to 1984, Mr. Brown practiced public accounting most recently as a senior audit manager for KPMG a national public accounting firm, headquartered in Toronto. Mr. Brown is a member of Financial Executives International and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of both Alberta and Ontario. He is past Chair, Financial Executives International Canada.

Mr. Ross joined True Energy Inc. in August 2001 and became the Vice President, Land in January 2005. Mr. Ross has worked for the past 20 years in both surface and mineral negotiation capacities for various oil & gas exploration companies in Western Canada. Prior to joining True, Mr. Ross was a Landman at Crestar Energy Inc. (which subsequently became part of Gulf Canada Resources) from 1997. Mr. Ross received his Petroleum Mineral Land Management diploma from Mount Royal College in 1985 and is a licensed Alberta Land Agent. Mr. Ross has been a member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen since 1989 and received his professional Landman Designation in 1998.
